Who we are

Callout is run by Thomas Baildham, trading as Callout ("we"), 12 Millgate Close, Stourport, Worcestershire DY13 9GT. We are the data controller for the personal data described here. Contact: [email protected]. ICO registration number: [number].

What we collect

• Subscribers: email address, company name, chosen trades and regions, plan, and when you confirmed. If you pay, Stripe holds your card details. We only see your Stripe customer and subscription IDs.
• Email delivery data: whether an email was delivered or bounced, from our email provider.
• Business contacts from public award notices: the company name, address and contact email that public bodies publish on Find a Tender when they award a contract.

Why, and our lawful basis

• Sending the digests you asked for and running your account: contract.
• Taking payment and keeping tax records: contract and legal obligation.
• Emailing limited companies and LLPs that have won public contracts in the trades we cover, to offer the service: legitimate interests. We email corporate addresses only, never sole traders or partnerships without consent. Every email says who we are and has a one-click opt-out, and we keep a suppression list so you're never contacted again after opting out.

Who we share it with

Only the processors that run the service: DigitalOcean (hosting, London), Resend (email delivery), Stripe (payments) and Healthchecks.io (uptime monitoring, which receives no personal data). We never sell data.

How long we keep it

Subscriber data is kept while your account is active and deleted 12 months after you unsubscribe, apart from a suppression record of your email so we don't contact you again. Payment records are kept for 6 years for HMRC. Prospect contacts who don't respond are deleted after 12 months.

Your rights

You can ask for a copy of your data, or ask us to correct it, delete it, or stop using it for marketing. Email [email protected]. If you're unhappy, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.

Cookies

We don't use tracking or analytics cookies. Stripe sets its own cookies on its checkout pages.
